Bible Prophecy

A full 1/3rd of the Bible is prophetic in nature and 80% of the 2500+ prophecies of the Bible have already been fulfilled. Fulfilled prophecy proves the Bible’s divine origin. The more you study prophecy, the more you see how intricately designed the Bible really is.

Even though it was written by 39 writers over a period of 1500 years, every minute detail of Scripture fits together like a divine DNA strand. Design and interconnectivity runs throughout. In fact, I believe Bible prophecy is like the Central Nervous System (CNS) of the Bible. Every line of theology, key narrative, and overarching theme connects back to Bible prophecy. Specific prophecies of Scripture begin in the 3rd chapter of Genesis and run through the end of the last chapter of Revelation.

Prophetic themes introduced in Genesis find their ultimate resolution in Revelation. Prophecy links themes, fills in details, verifies God’s message, and tells one cohesive mega-story. Fulfilled Bible prophecy is one of the key factors that separates the Bible from any other religious work every created, and the Bible is the only book related to a major religion that claims to be the very word of God and backs it up with fulfilled prophecies.

So, Bible prophecy is the core 1/3rd of Scripture. Without it, everything falls apart and the Bible is just another book. Understanding Scripture without embracing Bible prophecy would be like trying to sit on a stool with only 2 legs. Without the third leg, it doesn’t work.
