I just wanted to share this thought with you prayerfully. I’ve noticed many people are becoming more fearful in these days. First it was the result of the Covid-19 effects. Now, it has shifted to fears about what the future holds in terms of the economy, globalist power grabs, political insanity, and the deepening chaos in our country—made worse by the terrible death of George Floyd and the nationwide riots that have followed (more on this in a future post).

But isn’t this exactly what Bible prophecy said was going to happen? We are not promised a life of ease, but we are promised to be removed before a global economic collapse, WW3, and all of the other judgments what will take place in the future tribulation period. That doesn’t mean things won’t get worse before the rapture. In 2 Timothy 3:1, Paul said, “Mark this. There will be terrible (brutal, dangerous, scary) times in the last days.”

God is not up in Heaven saying, “I didn’t see that coming. What do we do now?” God is sovereign. He is ultimately in control. That doesn’t mean he causes evil, but he allows it. There is a tension between God’s sovereignty and man’s responsibility/free choice. (I address this paradox in my next book, The Non-Prophet’s Guide to Spiritual Warfare, releasing in September.)

During the first coming of Jesus, prophecies were fulfilled in rapid fashion after a long period of no prophetic activity (in terms of specific fulfillment). Again, as the rapture, tribulation, and return of Christ comes closer into view we are once again seeing prophecy being fulfilled in rapid fashion—and this will only increase.

I’m going to write a longer post in the near future related to everything I’ve written above, but as the Lord lays things in my heart, I want to share my thoughts first with my subscribers.

Here’s the bottom line. If you are in Christ—YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR. Everything is falling into place. We need to focus primarily on sharing the Gospel with others during this unprecedented time of history. We are privileged to witness end-time prophecy being fulfilled before our very eyes.
